Often, the voice of the controversy is needed to make sure the best decision is made. When someone brings up a point or asks a question that slows the momentum of a decision, honor it. Make sure that question is answered as best you can before moving on. That perceived negativity might turn out to be the moment of clarity that saves you massive heartache down the road.
Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) is not about escaping reality or blissful ignorance. PMA is about conditioning your mind to look for opportunity and possibility in the face of adversity.
Don’t get caught up in the idea of following someone because you think they’ve reached the mountaintop. Anyone trying to tell you to “buy my stuff cuz I’ve got no problems” should be avoided because that isn’t real. Find people, coaches, mentors, and the like that want to equip you for your own journey of opportunities, pitfalls, love, heartache, fear and bliss… not avoid it.
I hear it all the time, people want a fresh start.
