It freaked me out a little when I first read it. Bud’s description of how he and another passenger had acted on an airplane struck way too close to home for me not to pay attention. In fact, he could have been talking about me.
The difference from one year to the next is pretty obvious when you have the back story. Years of talking about or planning change does nothing positive for anyone. Change from the middle of an organization can do a lot, but ultimately the change must come from the top or all effort eventually fizzles out. Change isn’t change until it is change.
