The more we compromise, the more susceptible we are to the dangers of the world around us. People and circumstances will push in and often hurt us because we don’t the basis to stand firm. It’s a dangerous and frustrating place to be and many of us live in that place. We just don’t know where to draw our line in the sand.

What if God told you to sell all your possessions and give to the poor? Would you be obedient? What if God told you to go make millions of dollars in order to equip His saints here on earth? Could you be obedient?
Isn’t life about avoiding pain and seeking pleasure? No. A life of meaning and substance cannot be based on those as our sole motivations.
How many steps does it take to climb a mountain? A lot! Thousands, millions, I don’t know. How many can you take at a time? One. So if you want to climb a mountain, how much faith do you need in order to do it? Enough faith for one step at a time.
The fact that something is easy for you is often an indicator that you are squarely in the middle of your gifting. Because it is easy for you, others will value you for it.
