It freaked me out a little when I first read it. Bud’s description of how he and another passenger had acted on an airplane struck way too close to home for me not to pay attention. In fact, he could have been talking about me.
Our behaviors are the focus of most studies and training. How do we change what we are doing to improve results, relationships, and more? What I realized on the plane was how my outward behavior on the plane was not the major factor in the eventual result.
We are told very clearly that this isn’t about having as much as someone else, but about being obedient to do the most with what we have. To those who much is given, much is expected. In addition, we plainly see that everyone is given something and therefore, there is an expectation on us all. Can anyone really argue that it should be any other way?
